QUEENS PARK BABY & CHILDREN’S MARKET XMAS SPECIAL
Sunday 10am – 2pm, Salusbury Primary School (next to Farmers’ Market)
At this special Chirstmas market, a range of baby & children’s businesses will be showcasing and selling their products and services, all under one roof. A great place to pick up unique Christmas presents you won’t find on the high street and to support your local businesses (including Queens Park Mums!). There’ll be kids entertainment from the Giggle Company and facepainting by Mangozoo.

SOUTH KENSINGTON KIDS FESTIVAL
Saturday & Sunday
Annual festival, held this year at the Institut Français, celebrating writing, reading and drawing, led by children’s authors and illustrators from both side of the Channel. Workshops taking place this weekend include live drawing sessions, art classes, and workshops with the likes of Axel Sheffler, Paulo Coehlo and the creators of Okido.
Booking required for most sessions, prices £5-£15.

FESTIVE THEATRE AT THE LYRIC HAMMERSMITH
Saturday, 11:30am and 1pm
Raymond Briggs’ Father Christmas has just opened, with shows from 9:30am. Recommended ages 0-6.
£10/babies under 18 months free on parent/carer’s lap.

ROLLER BUMP AT SOUTHBANK
Saturday & Sunday
Ice-skating not your bag? Can’t face the cold? Get yourselves to Hungerford Bridge for the (indoor) Bump Roller Disco, part of the Southbank’s brilliant Winter Festival activities.
Ages 3+. Sessions from 11am daily, £7.50 kids under 14, £10 adults.

FRAMED FAMILY FILM FESTIVAL
Saturday & Sunday
Annual showcase of films and workshops for kids under 12 at the Barbican. Highlights this year include a preview screening of The Peanuts Movie (Sat 11am & 11.30am); and an animated version of The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran. Lots of free activities and workshops also on offer such as theGreen Screen Studio, Studio Anorak Drawing Wall, and Make your own Headdress workshops.

MINI MAESTROS FAMILY CONCERT AT ST MARTIN IN THE FIELDS
Saturday, 4:30pm
Did the recent Brent Symphony Orchestra Concert in Kensal Green give your little ones a taste for live orchestra? Head to St Martin in the Fields for a family concert featuring Beethoven’s 5th symphony and the chance to sing along to his uplifting ‘Ode to Joy’.
