If you’re looking for a fun, dynamic sport for your little one to develop their social and physical skills – and in a fun, positive environment, Rugbytots is a must.

Developed for boys and girls aged 2-7, the fun, structured play sessions take children on a journey of sporting imagination with engaging and energetic coaches supporting them every step of the way whilst teaching them how to catch, pass, kick, run with the ball and play as part of a team.

The youngest age group  2-3.5 year olds, learn about rugby, and practice scoring trys in games that use colours, shapes and numbers and counting. Rugbytots practice kicking over mini rugby posts and have rugbytots completing ever changing obstacle courses. The younger class lasts for 30mins, where they are developing and working on skills each week whilst most importantly having fun and making friends. This class involves parent participation and uses the foam rugby balls to prepare rugbytots for their passing and kicking games.

The next age group is the 3.5-5 year olds, which has fun and exciting lessons that are great for the super energetic types. This class is very dynamic and the 45minute session is jam packed with rugby specific skills to develop their social and physical skills in a fun and positive environment. Your rugbytot will learn about finding space, running with the ball, looking after the ball and scoring trys. These classes will develop your rugbytots balancing and agility skills whilst continuously developing their hand eye co-ordination. For this age group a size 2 rugby ball is used.

The final age group is for 5-7 year olds, and this rugbytots activity programme focuses on lots of fun and encouragement, whilst enhancing confidence and self-esteem. These classes follow the same structure as the others, but start to ntroduce more independent play and teaching the rugbytots to work and play as a team as well as involving more advanced games and skills. These are challenging classes and aim to build the foundation for your child’s life post rugbytots.  A gentle introduction to the rules and the game of tag rugby begins here.
